Heber is 23 years old in -3005.  The building took place, in this scenario, till -3010 i.e. from -3117 or 107 years. ‘The Greek historian Herodotus (440 BC) later wrote of this ziggurat, which he called the "Temple of Zeus Belus [Belus rules from -3089 to -3034, according to CUT chronology]", giving an account of its vast dimensions.’ See Wiki article Tower of Babel. Heber is 18 years old in -3010.  Hence he could have refused to work as a youth (age 17?).  The story of him keeping Hebrew – the original language(?) - might or might not be true.

During the Mesozoic and Cenozoic, the paleogeography of the opening Atlantic Ocean dominates as Pangaea breaks up.  Note that as the Atlantic opens, the once great Tethys ocean is closed - and the Alps and Himalayas rise.

During the construction of the Tower (and at the planning stage) the supercontinent Pangaea is being assembled.  This assembly is clearly the spur to building the Tower. People are in easier contact and can be rostered to work.

we form the conclusion[1] that the Tower was under construction from -5500 (Africanus unadjusted) + 2354 = -3146 to the end of Nimrod-Enmerkar’s reign in -3103.  If this is the case before the assembly of the structure in -3117 a certain amount of ground work was done.  It appears after the tongues were confused work carried on to the -3010 mentioned above!!  Serious hubris, eh!  Or even, -3146 to -3039 is still pretty insane, 76 years crazy in fact.

By way of summary – it seems the 107 years starts -3146, long after colonisation began.  NB Rodinia is still extant at colonisation, ca. -3217 to -3210. The 43 years ends in -3103, when Cush is no longer driving matters.  The -3146 start reflects the ….heavenly Nidaba, of Kish and others (Saturn in Assyria). The actual start of real work is -3117. Confusion is -3115 then finally the builders “leave off” in -3103, giving up completely in -3039.  The Pangaea supercontinent is building while this contretemps is in progress. This means, if allowed to go unchecked, the rebellion will conveniently be contemporaneous -  everyone will be altogether in one supercontinent able to contribute their 10 cents worth and “nothing will be restrained from them”.  The end of Nimrod-Enmerkar’s big deal (-3016) comes with the 220 Ma (-3017) rifting that cascades to full separation of continents ca. 2900.  This would have been positively inconvenient to the rebels.

Late Precambrian (600 Ma)- Supercontinent Rodinia; end of prolonged ice age; [-3219 first Colonists to Italy]

[1] See Wiki;  Villani's 1300 account; and the rabbinic Midrash ha-Gadol (14th century). Villani adds that it "was begun 700 years after the Flood, and there were 2,354 years from the beginning of the world to the confusion of the Tower of Babel. And we find that they were 107 years working at it; and men lived long in those times".  Another way of reading this is; -5471 {-5571 (-5589 +18)+ 100 or -5489 start} +2354 = -3117.  Flood year then becomes -5571 +1556 (as opposed to 1656) = -3915 or General Cosmic Year ‘1’.  Seven becomes then eight hundred years after Flood or -3115 – the Year of Confusion of the Tongues.
